The NSRMAA began October 14, 1947 when just a small group of fire departments decided there was value in sharing resources.
Today, the NSRMAA consists of 34 departments ranging in size from 19 to 368 members and covering 655 square miles. By staying true to our mission, we are continuing to build upon our long-standing tradition of mutual assistance. Together, we are achieving excellence.
